I am the baker and owner behind Sugar Kane Bakehouse, a micro-cottage bakery nestled in Davenport, Florida.


I am a wife to my loving and supportive husband, Matt. A mother to my two sweet and beautiful daughters, Rachel and Sophia. And most recently, I gained the title of Mimi to my precious granddaughter, Rory.


When I am not baking, you will find me spending time with my family, or with my nose in a book, or taking my dog Bubba for his daily walks, or diving into the latest true crime series.


Baking has always been my love language. For me, there's nothing better than creating something from scratch, pulling it warm from the oven, and seeing the joy it brings when someone takes that first bite.

At Sugar Kane Bakehouse, my vision is simple: to bring a little comfort, sweetness, and connection to my community through handcrafted baked goods. Each cookie, muffin, and loaf of bread is made with care from my home kitchen, using recipes that feel warm, familiar, and special all at once. I hope that every treat from Sugar Kane Bakehouse makes you feel the same love and joy I pour into baking it, like a little taste of home.

Baking has always been more than mixing ingredients-it's how I show love. Growing up, the kitchen was where the best memories were made, and I've carried that tradition into my own home. When I bake, I'm not just creating cookies, breads, or muffins-I'm creating moments. The smile on someone's face when they take that first bite is what brings me such joy.


Sugar Kane Bakehouse exists because I believe food brings people together. My "why" is simple: to spread joy, warmth, and connection through homemade baked goods that feel like a hug from the inside out.
